Themes and Content
The theme of the Congress is One World: Many Childhoods.

This theme has been chosen as it presents a unique opportunity for early childhood practitioners to exchange information and to celebrate the enriching of communities through the lives of young children. There will be a sharing of current expertise of experts, both local and international, and interested parties from diverse fields with a commitment to some aspect of early childhood. Broad ranging topics will enable speakers to address advocates the world over and to bring the importance of the early years to public awareness.

The four sub-themes are as follows:

o Child Health and Social Services
o Indigenous Children's Needs and Services
o Innovations in Service Delivery
o Children in Difficult Circumstances
