Art Exhibition

An interesting exhibition of children's art will be one of the features of the 2004 OMEP Congress. It will be officially opened by Steve Vizard, AM, President of the Council of Trustees of the National Gallery of Victoria, on the first day of the Congress.

The work has been collected over the past year and a half from kindergartens, schools, and child care centres all over Australia.

It represents all stages of work, from the very early experimental scribbles to the more realistic and sophisticated. The ages of the children whose work is to be exhibited range from 2 years to 8 years.

An illustrated catalogue will be available to purchase, containing reproductions of the work, with explanatory notes.
